Virginia & James – The Glen Wedding
An outdoor wedding is an awesome idea. My wife wanted one but we were married in November in Toronto, you do the math. But looking back I feel like we could’ve made it through the 30 minutes of cold temperatures. Not like November cold is the worst kind of cold you can get in Canada. But an outdoor wedding in the fall is almost perfect. Not too cold, not to hot. Plus the colors, sights and sounds really add to the ambiance…I love using fancy words
Virginia and James planned their wedding day well. Everything went smooth and we were even early for everything and not by a little. We were ahead of schedule by 30 minutes and who doesn’t appreciate that. It allows more time for us to play with ideas and angles that we may not use with less time available. We did have a bit of travel before we arrived for the ceremony at The Glen in Brampton. James got ready for the wedding day in a hotel where we photographed before heading to Virginia’s parents.
The best man and maid of honor were their children. An awesome touch if you ask us. The were really helpful through out the day and were far more nervous than their parents. I true sign that they took great pride in their duties. Plus they all received cool t-shirts as well, so that helped. I however am still waiting patiently for mine.
We enjoyed an intimate wedding reception at the Glen. The very close group were entertained with a few very heartfelt speeches. From the couples parents to their children. It was a great event that included 4 generations all under one roof. We are honored to have photographed it for Virginia and James.
