What made me fall in love with Studio Cabral and Chris’ work, was the engagement pictures that he did for Jen and Philip. I could not believe how someone could made a dirty, dilapidated, abandoned building so beautiful. It actually made me re-think my locations (which had been picked out for years) because I thought they might not be unique enough to give us amazing shots like those. But boy was I ever wrong.
The entire day went off without a hitch. The weather was hot and sunny, not a cloud in the sky, and not a single chance of rain, which was perfect since we had chosen our date weeks in advance without knowing what the weather would be like. We weren’t nervous, but even if we were, our nerves wouldn’t stand a chance against Chris joking around the entire time and making funny noises to get us to laugh while he was taking pictures. We had complete confidence in him even as he was taking us through back alleys and getting me to climb a lifeguard watch tower (in platforms I might add) to get the perfect light, background and angle. And the end result was certainly worth every minute. To quote my sister/MOH as she was seeing the pictures for the first time, “If your engagement pictures look like this, imagine what the wedding pictures are going to look like!”
Thank you Studio Cabral and Chris, you are amazing!
