Nicole & Michael – Mississauga Grand Wedding
The forecast called for rain, all day and plenty of it. From the moment we began the day it was raining. “I wish it could just stop for 3 hours, right in the middle of the day” I said to myself. As if someone had heard my wish was granted. Between 2pm and 5pm that day there was not a drop of rain. The exact time slot that I had hoped for. Before and after it was as if mother nature was making up for a dry summer.
With one photographer with Michael and the other with Nicole the day started off smooth. With no real need for a rush it was a laid back shoot on both ends of the city. After all the fun in the morning it was time to meet up at St. Helen’s church to get these two married. Michael actually only had to walk a few blocks to get to church as he was right around the corner. Nicole was en route through a rainstorm in a big bus.
After a fairly emotional ceremony filled with tears of joy we all packed up the big bus and headed to Mississauga and a visit to Adamson Estate on the lake shore. With my genie taking care of the weather and mother nature on a cigarette break we stayed the course and shot on. Our bridal party and entourage were briefed on not giving us any weather updates no matter how dark that cloud is getting. Like a dream come true we finished up and were on our way to the reception. Just as we entered Mississauga Grand the skies opened up and a large storm rolled through. We did not care anymore as we were safe and sound with over 400 of our closest friends ready to party.
It was great to work with Timeless Creative Decor and artist Paul Dolgov.
