Melinda & Stephen’s Badlands E Session was talked about for soooo many months since they booked their wedding that we were looking forward to this really bad. Got all my gear in the car start driving for about 15 minutes and then RAIN. It was so bad I say Noah and the boat pass by. But do we ever give up?… NO. Once we met up we decided that we would wait it out and the results were worth the wait.
I had the pleasure of working with Studio Cabral (Chris) 4 years ago for my uncle Thomas and Sandi’s wedding. Chris had the entire bridal party laughing joking around and even stepping in to help with some props to capture the right moment. It was a great experience. I knew from then I would return to Studio Cabral when it came time for my special occasion.
When Stephen and I got engaged I told him that I had a photographer in mind that would do a great job at capturing all our special moments. After sitting down with Chris and looking at previous work and listening to the different ideas, we knew we had made the right decision.
When it came time to do our engagement we had a few moments of rain but we pulled through in order to capture the perfect pictures. It seemed that Chris understood us right from the start. He was willing to venture to new spots that were out of the ordinary. When we saw the pictures it is exactly what we were looking for. He captured the beautiful fall colours at the Caledon Badlands, the ruins and at a coffee shop. We cannot wait to do this all over again for our wedding day.
Thank you Studio Cabral for working with us and we look forward to another great shoot on our wedding day!
