Jen and Philip have enjoyed a fun filled nine years together, that’s right we said nine years. After meeting at a party they had a hard time staying away from each other. Through the years they have found comfort in little things. Renting a movie, sipping on their “timmies”, and having popcorn while just staying in. If you were to ask Philip what it is about Jen that he loves most, he would say her smile and cooking. As for Jen she loves Philip’s sense of humour. The big question was asked by Philip on the front steps of their new home.
Jen and Philip’s wedding was a pleasure for us to photograph from beginning to end. At our first meeting they asked for 2 photographers at their wedding, because as they said “there were many things happening on the wedding day”. They weren’t joking. The very talented Grenville Pinto passed by Jen’s home in the morning and played a few songs while Jen wiped away her tears. It was a major surprise for her, a surprise that only a few people knew about. We too came with our own surprise. As a last minute change of heart we had us photographing in downtown Toronto, to very positive results. Well over 275 guests partied well into the night at the Mississauga Convention Centre with our good friend Gary from Sound Sensation keeping the dance floor jammed.
