Fall Outdoor Ceremony and Reception Alyssa & Ryan
You read that correctly Alyssa and Ryan had their wedding completely outdoors in the fall. Yes this includes both the ceremony and reception which we held in either one of their parents back yards. Talk about a little bit of pressure for the family, but they all pulled through and had an awesome wedding day. This while we enjoyed showers here and there through out the day and one storm during the wedding reception, a high Five goes out to the person who invented tents, that was what saved us at night.
This October wedding day was very mild for the fall and we took advantage of it. With every location outdoors I do not know how we would’ve made it to the end if it were cold. Our day started off in Riverwood conservancy in Mississauga for the bride and groom’s first look. After a few moments of figuring where we would all be standing, all the while Ryan was blindfolded we were ready to get the first look captured. Sure must of looked like fun for the strangers passing through, I’m sure there would be a fun Benny Hill themed video online if someone were filming. It turned out to be the most genuine first look we have photographed and you can see why below. Despite a few rain drops here and there we managed to capture awesome images before we needed to be present at the wedding ceremony located in Ryan’s parents backyard.
We were really impressed with how the ceremony location looked and felt. It was very intimate and inviting the top two things needed for a wedding ceremony. The ceremony was conducted by the same minister who married Ryan’s parents, how cool is that. After the beautiful outdoor ceremony we all jumped into our vehicles and made the short drive to the wedding reception located in Alyssa’s parents backyard. We were thankful for the tent as the rain come at the start of dinner but the Food Dudes gave us all a wonderful meal that helped take our minds of the drops. We left at around 11pm but we found out later that the party didn’t really end until the early morning.
