Alex & Emily’s Family Session At The Scarborough Bluffs
We have just got back to the studio after finishing this awesome family session at the Scarborough Bluffs. It has been a rainy and gloomy day here in Toronto but we think that this family session will brighten your day. We captured all of the images right before the rain put a damper on the shoot. The children really cooperated as well and that goes a long way in achieving great images. We decided to photograph in a more lifestyle sort of way, which is to say capture the images as they happen. With children many things can happen and very quickly. You have got to be ready at all times.
We photographed Alex and Emily’s wedding almost 9 years ago, this surprised all of us. The funny thing is it rained on their wedding day as well. Everyone keeps saying that it’s good luck so I guess we have to agree with it. In those great years of marriage they gained two wonderful children and contacted us once again to photograph for them. We were happy to hear from them and loved their location selection of Scarborough Bluffs as we have not photographed there in a few months.
Family sessions are important at any age in your children’s life, because time flies and they will not stay crawling for long. You shouldn’t delay in setting up your session before the kids become teenagers and no longer want to hang out with you. Although Alex and Emily’s children will take a few more years before they become teenagers we know that this images will always be cherished by them. That is until the next time we photograph this family, maybe not on a rainy day though.
