Winter Wedding At Fantasy Farm Charlene & Noah
Winter weddings are supposed to be cold, especially here in the great city of Toronto. But Charlene and Noah were lucky on their wedding day this past January. It was plus 8 degrees Celsius on that awesome day, no joke. When we met the few times prior to their wedding day we had all hoped for just a bit of snow but not too much. We wanted a few outdoor shots and really only needed a light dusting of snow. Just a 4 cm snowfall the night before would be the best thing for us we thought. Fast forward to the wedding day and we received a gift from Mother Nature. An invite to photograph outdoors all afternoon and we gladly accepted.
Our day started right in the bridal suite at Fantasy Farm with all of the ladies working on their makeup. But Charlene was ready to go as soon as we were and we headed outdoors for Noah’s first look. After the bride and groom shared a moment alone we continued to stay outdoors in our winter tropical climate to capture the awesome images you see below. The only hurdle we faced was the sun going down but we used that to our advantage and captured one of our favorite silhouettes. With the last rays of sunshine going away we headed indoors for the ceremony.
The intimate ceremony was short and sweet just the way everyone likes them. It left plenty of time for the cocktail hour right before the reception. The party was just as awesome as all of the DIY decor through out the day. Handmade bouquets and center pieces add a heartfelt touch to any event. But the cupcakes took the cake for us. They were made by Noah’s aunt whom did not pass along the recipe no matter how much arm twisting we did.
