September Downtown Toronto Wedding
Samantha and David were married a few weeks ago in September. Their day was filled with a lot of sunshine and a boat load of laughter. Our team handled this downtown Toronto wedding with ease as the day ran without one hiccup. Every event was on time and if anything we were at the very least 30 minutes early for every one of them. It did help that the bride and groom were right across the street from one another. Just as they have always been as they grew up just steps from each other…38 steps door to door to be exact, I counted.
Who would’ve known all of those years ago walking home from school that one day they would be celebrating their wedding day. We arrived a little early and naturally with the extra time went looking for a few grungy alleyways to and found great photography locations. Toronto is the photography location gift that keeps on giving. After a few questionable finds that we stuck David in we walked passed our parked car and headed to the bride’s. Where she was ready, we love how in 2017 all of our bride’s were ready to go on time. Maybe all of those pre wedding pow wow’s help, who knows. We are really glad that someone is listening in.
We were so early for church that every door was locked. After a few of the ladies had a mini heart attack we headed in and prepped for the ceremony still 45 minutes away. The bridal party minus the bride practiced their entrance a few times as Samantha was relaxing outside. Father John at St. Sebastian’s was so happy that we were early that he actual smiled during the ceremony. Because it was a rare occurrence we actually captured it and had to post it below. With a quick drive to Queen and University we had Osgoode Hall to ourselves for maybe 15 minutes. But that’s just enough time to get a few open spaces empty enough before the wedding foot traffic shows up and makes it a bit difficult. But with experience we know how to roll and get your images captured our way.
