For us Nicole and Emmanuel’s wedding day was a great challenge. It was a challenge in that we were asked to photograph their wedding in a friend’s backyard. Our first thought was…Sure? Then we saw the location and let us tell you this has to be the Rolls Royce’s of Toronto backyards. In the end the real challenge happened to be how to control Emmanuel’s energy though out the day. This dude goes down in history as the one groom who kept up with us all day and all night long…just like Lionel Ritchie.
How did the two of you meet?
High school (initially couldn’t stand each other, and then well…it changed)
How long have you been together ?
8 years
Tell us about your favorite date together
There have been a lot of favourite dates…. but looking back, its not the fancy places or expensive dinners that stick out, our perfect date nights involved heading out for an ice cream waffle and cappuccino at Williams then coming home to sit in the driveway talking in his old pickup truck until 2 in the morning.
What is your favorite thing about one another?
He said my smile…my favourite thing about him is his complete lack of inhibition, he has no trouble belting out a song in a crowded place or acting ridiculous on a whim…sometimes it annoys the hell out of me but most of the time it’s endearing.
How did he propose?
In Holland, said he wanted to take a nice picture together by the port, when we got there he got down on his knee (almost got run over by a Vespa or two) and proposed.
